The energy performance certificate ...
From 4th january 2009
all owners of rental properties in Scotland are required to have an energy Performance Certificate when they are let.
A certificate is required when
- a viewing is conducted
- before signing a lease
IT IS A LEGAL REQUIREMENT
they last 10 years or until property modified.
Only accredited energy assessors will be able to conduct them
The Scottish association of landlords is working on it!
